COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF REPRODUCTION PROCESSES OF MATERIAL AND TECHNICAL BASE OF AGRICULTURE
IN THE REPUBLIC OF MORDOVIA AND THE PENZA REGION

Background. Improvement, updating and accumulation of material base of agriculture is the main component of increase in efficiency of agricultural production. In agro-industrial complex no organizational and economic actions will bring positive results without development of technical capacity of the enterprises of branch. The work purpose – to analyse a condition of material base of two adjoining regions – the Republic of Mordovia and the Penza region which main specialization is agroindustrial production.
Materials and methods. Research tasks were realized by application of the following scientific methods: scientific abstraction, functional and statistical analysis, graphics. This scientific basis allowed to compare the contents and value of a condition of material base of agriculture for development of branch.
Results. The analysis of a condition of material base of agrarian sector of two adjoining regions of the Volga Federal District allowed to reveal tendencies of development of material base of branch, its qualitative structure. Recommendations about accumulation of technical potential of agriculture of the considered regions are made.
Conclusions. Rates of acquisition and leaving of main types of equipment, volumes of investment investments in the Penza region and in the Republic of Mordovia significantly exceed data in comparison with indicators countrywide and across the Volga Federal District and have an opposite tendency unlike the Russian tendencies, however further development of investment processes in branch will be characterized by the delay caused by the decreasing state support of branch and the negative macroeconomic phenomena in the country and in the world.
